In 1988 she joined the school as a Nursery teacher, she has helped groom and prepare our students for their future role in life, by initiating them in the 3 "R's" with patience, kindness and nurturing care.

She became a part of the Emmaus family in , as a primary school teacher. A treasured and respected faculty member, without whom the ICSE geography classes would not be the same. Under the guidance of Mrs. Lorna Pais of Bangalore an expert in the field of geography, Mrs. Laxmi has proved an indispensible asset to the ninth and tenth standard.
